In the past I have never used YouTube for anything more than looking up random movie trailers or music videos. It wasn't until I had to use it to show a proof for a video the other day that I decided it could be a good tool to communicate to a whole different medium of people. The movie files I edit and create for cattle sales are too large to e-mail in their normal form.
So to quickly and efficiently show them to people for proofing or examples thus was born the LD Photography YouTube page. Check it out.
Thus far it is only a few complete videos for the December 2010 Magness Land & Cattle Heifer sale. When done it will have about 55 videos, one for each lot in the sale.
Hopefully this will help me gain exposure. I really enjoy editing movies. It's quick and fairly easy. And I'm the type of person that likes work that can be checked off a list and with a sale list you get to make lots of checks, one for each cow! :)
I've also been working on a wedding slide show that will eventually go up on the site as well. So spread the word if you like my work! :)
