Plants

While taking a little side trip to get some Christmas shopping and work done on my new project (stay tuned.... you'll see it soon enough) I stopped on the side of the road to capture something else and these caught my attention.

 

I just thought there were a really neat plant on the side of the road. They were very lively compared to the rest of the currently dying down Colorado landscape. I couldn't help but snap a few. Enjoy.

 

Berry ready for January.

If you know you well you know that the only reason I enjoy the holidays is because of Dawson. I don't particularly care for Christmas. I feel like I have to try to like it now that I have a child but it doesn't help much. I feel like the pilgrim's have been jipped and Christmas is purely about good deals and shopping. Not okay with that. But I will live and it will produce lots of neat pictures.

So for now, a random observation. Berry's are everywhere this time of year. They are like the only things that stay alive on the trees so when driving I always see an abundance of red berries.

I got a new action too, so this picture is a neat berry picture that is really an experiment with actions.

Under the Sea

I feel like the whole time I was at the Denver Aquarium I was singing the Little Mermaid song. I surely thought that this would be a good environment for me to take some good photos. I was a little disappointed. It's really hard to take pictures in that environment but that was easy to just chalk up to inexperience. I was really upset that almost all of the plants were fake!
